By virtue of order entered in Cause No. 08-1241-CV in the 25th Judicial District Court, Guadalupe County, Texas, styled Cleburn Roecker and Marjorie Baer vs. Norman Roecker and Shirley Grigg, the undersigned was appointed Receiver to sell certain real property in Guadalupe County, Texas described as approximately 1.46 acres being more fully described in the papers on file in that cause and commonly known as 307 Springs Street, Seguin, Texas 78155. Written offers to purchase such property for cash in the form of an executed current TREC One to Four Family Residential Contract accompanied by an Earnest Money Check in the minimum amount of $500.00 payable to the title company designated as escrow agent in said written offer may be submitted to the undersigned. The City of Seguin is accepting sealed bids for a Relay Upgrade Project. The Bidder shall provide itemized price quotations and delivery schedules for the specified items/services outlined in this bid. Sealed bids addressed to the City Manager’s Office, City of Seguin, 205 N. River St., Seguin, Texas 78155 will be received until 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2009, and be publicly opened and read at 3:00 p.m. Bids will be evaluated and awarded at a later date. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope (8 1/2” x 11” minimum) on forms provided herein, along with other information necessary to evaluate the bid.

Principle items of construction will include:

Work at (3) three electric substations (Seguin (Martindale), Seguin West, Cushman) located in CITY OF SEGUIN ELECTRIC SERVICE AREA, upgrading relays will occur at (2) two electric substations (Seguin & Cushman). Scope of project includes: removing existing electro-mechanical relays, installing new microprocessor based IEDs at each substation, modifying and/or replacing existing control panels, and providing a panel with accessories for the SCADA System.

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or an approved bidders bond in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum total bid, payable to the City of Seguin, Texas without recourse, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds on the forms provided, within ten (10) days after the award of contract.

Proposal forms, plans, and specifications may be examined at the City Hall, 205 N. River St., Seguin, Texas 78155 and may be obtained from M & S Engineering, LLC., 6477 FM 311, Spring Branch, Texas 78070, 830-228-5446, upon receipt of payment of One Hundred ($100.00) dollars. Please make checks or money orders, payable to M & S Engineering, LLC. PAYMENT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

The City of Seguin reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date on which bids are received.
